Data Layers Tab: We streamlined the Data Layers tab of the toolbar when drawing districts, aiming to make the user experience easier when overlaying partisan and demographic information on a district plan.
Features: You can now visit districtr.org/features to see a table of what features and data layers are available in different districting locations. The page will continue to update as more features are added to certain locations
Partisan Summary: A new section has been added to the Evaluation Tab when drawing districts titled “Partisan Balance Summary.” This section shows a user seat and vote share for the two major parties for every election we have in our dataset in one concise table. The old Election Results section, where one can view the district level results for a specific election, remains in place.
We have state submission portals available in Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. And we fixed contiguity issues in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Michigan.
